Friends of The Cooking Shed

From suppliers to sponsors - The Cooking Shed wouldn't be the cookery school that it is today if it wasn't for the help and support of its local community. Here are just a few of the key people and organisations that have helped us, and that we would recommend wholeheartedly as 'good eggs'...

Layhams Farm shop and nursery

Not just a brilliant local supplier of fresh, seasonal produce but also a sanctuary for toddlers to play while we can get on with catching up on some work guilt-free with a slice of cake and well made cuppa.

D.Parker & Son Ltd

A traditional family butchers in Wallington supplying award winning meat for all of our classes, and going the extra mile to help support our small business.

Veasey & Sons Fishmongers

Fishing from Eastbourne harbour daily on their own boat 'Le Belhara' means that we get the freshest sustainable, seasonal fish available. 'Catch' them on a Friday at the stall outside Holwood Farm shop.

Successful Mums

Thanks to Jane Knight for all of the help and support that she's given to Regan since she started her vision of The Cooking Shed. Her business start up course and one to one help has kept Regan focused on her end goal at all times and ensured The Cooking Shed reflects the original vision.

Oprington 1st

Sharon Baldwin, the Executive Director for this brilliant BID management company has helped to make it possible for parents in and around the Orpington area to have access to the amazing skills of Successful Mums - something that proved invaluable to us on our start-up journey.

Mummy's Gin Fund

Not only a referer of some of our lovely customers, but also a group that's helped to support us through cooking and class suggestions, and running competitions. Oh - and they love Gin too :)

Mrs Macs Cakes

One of our lovely launch day sponsors and a friend of The Cooking Shed. A bespoke cake artist based in west wickham. Using only the finest ingredients and with the utmost care and attention to detail you can have a stunning centre piece for any occasion.

Watch this space...we're trying to convince Mrs Mac to come run some lessons at The Cooking Shed!

McCullochs Roofing

One of our lovely launch day sponsors, a friend of The Cooking Shed, and our emergency rescue team when the wind blew the tiles off our roof!

If you are looking for a reliable and professional roofing company then look no further. McColloch roofing is proud to be able to offer a fully comprehensive roofing service from full recovers to repairs, flat roofs, guttering and UPVC Facia and cladding work. Based in West Wickham we are able to offer our services in this area and all surrounding areas.

Kerr family mediation

One of our lovely launch day sponsors and a friend of The Cooking Shed - Kerr Family Mediation (KFM) is a private mediation practice located in Kent. KFM is run by Jane Kerr, who has a background in family law. Based in Tunbridge Wells, Jane works across Kent and South London.

Tessa Clements Photography

A lovely and talented photographer who's coming to capture the action at our launch day. Watch out for the gallery of pics coming soon!

Ren's Kitchen

Not just an amazing Indian cookery school, but also a mentor to Regan and very good friend. Once you've met Ren you'll be binning your shop bought spices and begging her to be your supplier!

Owner, Angela Herbert has been an inspiration, support and friend to The Cooking Shed - as well as providing the perfect spot to enjoy a G&T and good food on a sunny day overlooking Keston common.

Gently Elephant

A supporter and good friend of The Cooking Shed, and the best place in South East London to get childrens shoes, toys and all things fab!
